After completing her studies at the University of the Free State, Ansa held several positions in the marketing, human resources, and public relations fields. She started her career at the University and moved on to run her own personnel agency. Later she joined Bloemboard (now Syfrets) as Marketing Development Manager. She was appointed as the Middestad Centre’s in-house Public Relations Consultant. Later she joined another personnel agency, first as consultant, later as marketing consultant and then as manager. During 1991, she became involved as a part-time lecturer for Damelin and started a franchise 6 months later. While being Principal / Manager for Damelin Bloemfontein, she initiated branches in Welkom, Kimberley, and Maseru. She was awarded as the 1998 Marketer of the Year for all Damelin franchises, as well as Franchisee of the Year. In June 2000, Ansa was runner-up in the ‘Sanlam / Netnews BusinessWomen 2000’ competition. She was also one of the founder members of Power People and Integrity Incorporated. Lynne
Landman, General Manager of Z PR, believes that in order to achieve
the highest results in business, one must be able to lead by example.
She is at the steer of this dynamic consultancy since 2004. In this
period the turnover of the business more than doubled. Z PR has established
a proven track record in creative achievement, earning the company a
reputation for professional and innovative performance. Lynne believes
in continued learning: she has a Masters Degree in Communication Science
and also obtained her Higher Diploma in Business Management at Damelin,
where she was top student for this programme. Lynne's philosophy in
life is: Trust God. Work hard. Believe in yourself and others.
Relda matriculated at Academia High School in Windhoek in 1986. She has a strong administrative background. In 1987 she started working for the Government. In the three years she spent there, she was employed by the Tender Council. In this position she was responsible for tenders, contracts, proof reading, general office administration and filing systems. In 1990 she was appointed by the South African High Commissioner. Apart from office administration, her duties included visas, working permits, purchasing of stationary etc. In October 2004 Relda joined the Z PR team. She is an invaluable part of the team - with her excellent admin skills, ability to organize, adapt filing systems and with her providing a general feeling of order and structure.
Prior to entering the world of communications, Helen cut her teeth as a journalist at Irawa (the official student newspaper of the University of the Free State) in 2006. The 23 year old has since garnered significant media experience having begun as a Trainee Coordinator at Z PR she went on to work with Free State government on their public information platform, Hlasela TV, served as a personal manager to Bloemfontein hip hop artist 2Nyce, consulted on numerous private projects and currently enjoys a thriving radio career at Kovsie FM. Her qualifcations in Media Studies and Communication Science coupled with adept communications and writing skills, makes her an excellent addition to Team Z PR.
Juanré matriculated at Sand du Plessis High school in Bloemfontein in 2010. She is currently busy with her second year studies in Business Management. She started working part-time for Z PR when she was still in school and joined the team in 2012 as part of the full-time staff compliment. Her hard-working nature and an avid mind for learning makes Juanré a valuable addition to Team Z PR.
Athi was born in Eastern Cape and schooled in Kwazulu Natal. She matriculated at the South Coast Academy in 2006. Her love of travel saw her furthering her studies in Bloemfontein’s University of the Free state. During her student life her independent streak had her working vacation jobs at every chance she could get. She has worked at a well-known restaurant in Bloemfontein, volunteered for the world cup, written some freelance articles for a local newspaper at her home town that was starting out at the time, and recently worked as a casual at a well-known retail store. She is now a graduate of the University of the Free State in B.A media studies and pursuing to do her honours in communication. But still firmly believes that nothing beats having work experience in this world. |
